January Cover Previews

Maybe I'm just in a sour mood, but I don't see much worth showcasing this month.

The Spirit # 2 by Darwyn Cooke
The Spirit hanging out with P'Gell.

X-Men # 195 by Humberto Ramos
I haven't seen much from this artist that appeals to me. This at least gives me hope I won't have to skip the issue because he is doing the pencils.

Since that's it, I'll toss in this upcoming Lone Ranger cover that might actually appear before the year is out.

Lone Ranger # 4 by Cassaday
Maybe the horse's face remains hidden to preserve the suspense over whether it is Silver or not.

Bonus late entry:

Red Sonja # 19 by Homs
I'm sure Sonja's new winged leonine neighbors just want to borrow some sugar. Clearly planning her own cake, she has to say, No. A fantastic cover to start a run as artist.

UY 97

Usagi Yojimbo # 97 was another satisfying issue from Stan Sakai.

Nevertheless, I'm curious if not drawing in more facial details for Usagi in this panel was an oversight:
