Who brings air support to a knife fight? The eventual winner, that's who!
Starting this entry off with heroes fighting dinosaurs might raise expectations too high. SO CHECK YOURSELVES, PEOPLE! It can't get any better.
Or can it? Steve Rogers vs. Robots! And a flamethrower! Probably at night too. This is not your father's J. Giles video!
Or unrevealed nuggets from Blackest Night? What, we don't know it all?! (I certainly don't. Way behind on my GL/GLC/BN reading.)
Or... or the Helmet of Fate looming large in the background? Maybe not as compelling. I still like this cover though.
Fitting. A funeral pyre to mark the end of this numbering of the title. I suppose Daredevil might be dead too!
How many X-Men get on the cover before Iceman? This many, minus one.
It's clear who wears the pants here.
A Green Lantern against her own people to uphold something or other. Certainly a classic motif.
You thought there wouldn't be any more dinosaurs? You were so wrong.
Something Zatanna might say in this situation: Steppup, pots! (Hint: Her magic is backwards wordplay.)
In world with two full moons...

Secrecy + Avengers, for the eighth time!
That ghostly Daredevil is probably what's left of the readership of this title. Have to see how picking up Daredevil's numbering, and tag line (the nerve!), pans out.
If any organization ever needs a psychiatrist on staff, it will be this one.
I'll spare you some lame Eye joke here. Or will I?
When Karima gets on the cover looking like this, you can safely add the tag line: Everybody Dies!

You'd think a girl could get out of the spotlight on a rooftop dressed in a costume like that. Guess not!
Heroes backed against posters are a favorite of mine.
Like a teppup no a gnirts. (Don't wrinkle your brow like that. I already told you how this works. Pay attention, please.)

Nice of Spider-Girl to mediate that dispute. In mid-air.
Good to see Moon Knight making friends.
Of course, the so-called heroes were vandalizing that tree. There can't be any misunderstanding here.
It will surely take all their power to stop a head that big.
Come on, Power Girl, you are smart enough to re-program the evil robots; don't rip them in half.

Pepper: Tony, don't you think putting ourselves in these suits might be a reflection of our intimacy issues?
Al Rio doing super-hero interiors might be worth a look.
Wonder what they got Denna working on. X-Files? Fringe Division?
I like the hero wanted posters.
"You think I'm just some cartoon you can forget about when it suits you?"
"Clayface, I'm really just not that into you." "Oh, yes, you are, Batgirl. Yes. You. Are." "Help. Mmph."
Do only the Superfamily get Bizarro counterparts? Not that I want one, or anything.

Supergirl: You mean the movie only came with one pair of 3-D glasses?!
