Even if this piece contributed to some delay with Civil War, it might have been worth it.

Mel Rubi usually contributes a fine cover every issue for the regular series, but these two by other artists especially caught my eye. At some point soon I'm going to cave and buy a Red Sonja issue or two. Probably these very two. The snowy setting of the mini-series reminds me how much I enjoyed The Frost Giant's Daughter in the earliest issues of Conan's current run.

Marvel Legacy: The 1980's Handbook by Sal Buscema There are just so many characters with so much (or such obscure) history that I find these enjoyable and helpful. Comics art has changed since those days.

Tony Harris Highlander # 1 Cover

Dynamite Entertainment has revealed the covers for next month's Highlander # 1. The other two aren't bad at all, but I enjoy Tony Harris art, so I'll be hopefully seeking this one. What a pleasant surprise that he'll be doing covers for this series. I hope the contents can live up to them.
